Anastasios Tsinas is the Rector of TEI of EPIRUS

Anastasios Tsinas is a graduate of the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1997, "Excellent") and a Ph.D. (1997, "Excellent").

He is Professor of the Department of Agricultural Technologists of Technological Educational Institute of Epirus with a subject of "Animal Medicine Pathology" Veterinary Pharmacology ".

At the Technological Educational Institute of Epirus he taught for the first time as an extraordinary scientific associate the academic year 2002-03, while in 2006 he was elected associate professor of the Department of Animal Production. He has also taught in joint postgraduate programs organized by TEI of Epirus with the Universities of the Aegean and Ioannina. He has attended training seminars in the Netherlands and Great Britain on veterinary management issues, as well as on the design, organization, execution and statistical use of clinical experiments on productive animals, with the aim of controlling diseases and assessing their productivity. He has worked with pharmaceutical companies as a technical consultant and scientific associate, while he has been a manager of a Greek company producing novel feed additive. His published work is internationally recognized and includes articles in prestigious scientific journals and conferences, both Greek and international. He has also participated as a member of research teams in the development of research programs, both in the AUTh and TEI of Epirus.

From February 2013 until November 2017 he was Deputy Chairman of TEI of Epirus with responsibilities in Academic Affairs, Personnel, Student Welfare & Building Facilities.

Since 1st December 2017 he is the new Rector of TEI of Epirus.
